Partnering with Florida’s High-Tech
Corridor Initiative, Mrs. Dennison has donated $50,000 to the University of South Florida Research
Foundation (http://www.usf.edu) as an investment to the community in efforts to attract and retain
high-technology based businesses that will provide highly skilled jobs and wages for the Central Florida
Community.
MyRegion.org ( website )
Mrs. Dennison is the former
Co-Chair of MyRegion.org, a seven-county Regional Development Initiative designed to combine government,
businesses and civic leadership through the implementation of a regional agenda to ensure the success of
Central Florida in the 21st century global marketplace.
Central Florida Development Council ( website )
was instrumental in assisting theTRC transition from Huntsville, Alabama to Haines City, FL. The Council
provided mentoring and funding services and introductions to key officials.
Enterprise Florida ( website )
offers public-private
partnerships and is the primary leader in economic development efforts throughout Florida. Enterprise
Florida assisted TRC’s transition to Central Florida by providing funding through the Qualified Target
Industry Grant, the Quick Response Training Grant, and through other Technology Grants.
